Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the detail that matters. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.
